Collections
You have the option of grouping your content into collections. You might choose to do this based on the nature of the content, or in order to have a conventient home on your site for a particular segment of your audience.
subcollections
Your site is considered the "top-level" collection. Any collections you create are considered sub-collections of your site. You can nest collections within collections within collections, but take care not to over-fragment your site's content.
In order to create, manage and switch between collections, you'll use the collection menu found under the location indicator at the top of the content section.
Clicking 'switch collections' will display a dialog listing all of your collections to select from. Simply clicking on a collection's url will take you to that collection's resource list.
Clicking 'manage subcollections' will take you to a resource-list view of the collections within this collection, where you can edit them just as you would with any other resource.
Clicking 'new subcollection' will append a text box onto the end of the url in the location indicator. type the name of the new subcollection here and click the 'create' button to add the collection. Renao will take you to that new collection so you can start adding content.
moving resources
If you use collections you will likely need to move your resources from one to another at some point. Simply select the rows of the resources you wish to move, and select 'move' from the resource-list menu. The collection chooser dialog will appear. Select the collection you wish to move the resources to and Renao will take care of the rest.
generating navigation links
Most web sites of any size will have some form of navigation menu to help visitors find their way around. Under renao you can specify a set of resources for the navigation menu of each collection you have. When you click 'edit home page' on the collection menu mentioned above, you will notice one of the tabs in the new window is called 'navigation'. Here you can list in any order the resources you wish to appear in the navigation for your collection.
